DST-2-Vibro


DST-2-Vibro system is used for determining dynamic stiffness of materials for thermal and sound insulation (EPS, mineral wool etc.) according to EN 29052-1/ISO 9052 standard. Dynamic stiffness of a material is determined to quantitatively derive its ability to absorb sound.

Test procedure:
  • the test piece is placed on the smooth flat granite base plate, a steel weight plate with sensors is placed over it;
  • STIROLAB-DST-2-Vibro software generates a sine wave with continuously changing frequency and determines the dynamic stiffness of the material by measuring resonant frequencies.

DST-2-Vibro tests are supported by STIROLAB-DST-2-Vibro program package for data acquisition, processing and storage as well as printing test reports.
