Stirolab d.o.o. (Ltd.), Material Testing Technology is a manufacturer of industrial laboratory equipment for testing quality of thermal insulation materials (EPS, XPS, mineral wool, wood wool, sandwich panels etc.) in accordance with EN and ISO standards as well as educational equipment (for material technology, physics, aeronautics and biology) in accordance with DIN and EN standards.
The majority of apparatuses are PC supported and with quality software. Apart from manufacture, we
also have testing facilities. Our own laboratory offers periodical material
quality checks, as well as thorough tests and expertise connected with
insulation material research and development.
At the beginning, a great majority
of our machines were manufactured for the neighbouring countries, i.e.
Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia. Steadily, we entered the
EU and world market. At present, a lot of our customers and distributors are
located in Western Europe (France, UK, Italy), the Middle East and Africa.
The company is divided
into two sectors. The first one - educational
equipment - deals with manufacture of material testing apparatuses for the
needs of civil and machine engineering high schools and universities. The other is the aforementioned
industrial sector, which encompasses the insulation material testing
apparatuses and laboratory testing. Currently
we are working on the development of a range of apparatuses for industrial laboratory testing of concrete and
other building materials
